We're building APIs to help owners of golf content distribute high quality video to golfers through the golf focused applications they're already using.
If you like golf and want to help pave a new avenue for golfers to get access to unique high quality content.
Our investors believe in what we're doing. We're currently funded well enough to run the team for 2 years to build our MVP and reach revenue.
We have a deep bench of LOIs from both content owners and application owners who want this API/campaign tool to exist.
We get to choose our stack and make our own architectural decisions in meeting the software requirements.
This is going to be a small team. It's going to be myself, another full stack dev, and a cloud engineer. We're going to run sprints using Github Projects as our Kanban tool, and we're going to focus on building the MVP of this platform, and we'll have a devops/cloud engineer to make sure we have a scalable architecture to deploy into.
We'll need to make sure we're able to distribute video all over the world and collect analytics in the most cost-effective way possible. We also want to know what the most
expensive parts of our APIs are. So we'll be strategizing and building our way through some interesting usage monitoring problems.
Create a UI to help a Sponsor create a campaign for a video, and choose the demographic attributes of who they want to see it, set budgets and configure geographical rights restrictions.
Write a library that gathers useful tracking events from viewers using our video player in different environments, Guarantee that users viewed a video for more than 30 seconds before deducting 5 cents from the Sponsor's budget.
Strategically come up with requirements for other datapoints that we should be tracking, what we would hypothetically get from them, and then implement those features, as well.
Set up replicas of our analytics database in several regions and VPCs, design a way to stream updates between regions efficiently.

Mandatory 30 days a year minimum
We want you to put in hours, obviously, and we wan to establish a productive rhythm, but the structure around how that's achieved is purposely flexible. We'll pay more attention to output than hours.
We're remote first. There's no office. If you're home, you're already at the office.
