Engineering at Pattern Labs
We are building out three cross functional teams to work on three legs of our marketplace - the employer platform, the workforce app and the back office and automation platform for our internal operations team.
Each team will operate on their own cycles, running their own product discovery processes, picking outcomes in collaboration with the stakeholders and delivering value to the company.
There are many many complex interactions between multiple sides of the marketplace that come with a lot of data model and architectural challenges with very interesting trade offs. We are making hard architectural decisions that will impact our ability to scale every single cycle.
You would be launching our mobile efforts for the workforce side from the grounds up and make a lot of key architectural and team decisions
Lead the design, buildout and continuing evolution of our React-based web architecture for the employer product

We have unlimited vacation days
We have offices in New York, Toronto and Vancouver and we are expanding to multiple cities quickly. We are more than happy to support you if you want to switch sceneries and work out of any of our offices.
We do all company retreats very often. Pre-covid we did an all-team trip to North Saanich with a lot of activities planned. It is a great way for our team to bond.
