You are joining at ground floor. This is the very start of the company and with your help we will shape the way the company writes code, ships products and operates. We are literally starting afresh with no previous code written.
~$50B or about 0.5% of $13.4T consumer debt is spent on loan management and customer service. We have huge market to dive into and re-shape.
This is the ground floor you will help us design the structure and processes of the company. What you do here will be the basis for everything!
Our software needs to be able to be deploy both as SaaS and (probably later) as a standalone.
The system and will be built around the business model making various aspect of the system modular in a lego-like design. That means customers can pick and choose which elements they are using. This implies a services (micro-services) oriented architecture with a high resolution authentication and authorization system with clear APIs.
Designing these APIs in a verioned manner will be a big challenge
The system will have multi-tenants and will have to be fully white labeled for customers.
Interacting with multiple payment processor including both bank transfers, credit card and event physical checks (Yes! Physical checks!)
An open API to plug in any telephony system to allow the customer to use our own solution (built on top of Twilio) or plug in their own solution
AI/Machine Learning repayment engine that learns when to contact borrower and notify them when and how they should pay their loans. This algorithm will also have to incorporate a compliance engine as the loans industry is highly regulated and there are various rules that the system MUST adhere to.
Infrastructure projects which includes:
Multi protocol supported authentication system (email+password, google, LDAP, Active Direction, etc)
High resolution roles and permissions based authorization system
Financial ledger system calculating the loan status with ability to replay loan events
Super fast, clear and easy to use UI/UX for: - Representatives servicing borrower - we want to be the first virtual call center allowing remote work. That means super clean and easy to understand UI/UX to reduce the amount of training a representative has to go
- Borrowers - the system will have a big self-service module and that has to have super slick and easy to use UI/UX so that any borrower can easily perform actions on their loans.
We want to be small, nimble and move fast. Automate as much as possible and delivery high quality products on time.
