Engineering at Pearl
Our engineering team operates on two week sprints followed by a one week cool down. Each sprint has daily asynchronous Slack stand-ups and weekly video calls to demo progress. Engineers push code and review each other's pull requests daily.
Engineers also talk to users and creators weekly, are encouraged to pitch the team on features or product ideas, collaborate with each other and designers, and act largely autonomously.
We are building include group livestream audio rooms as well as automated marketing to increase subscriptions deployed on the creator's social accounts.
You would be building major features for our product and testing them with users.
You will get to build group livestream audio rooms so that fans with shared interests can meet and befriend each other.
You will get to build a companion React Native app that users of the web app are encouraged to download—similar to Discord's strategy.
