Role Description

We are looking for strong developers to join our small but growing team. As one of the earliest engineering hires, you’ll take on a lead role with vast ownership across the frontend. We are tackling challenging and important problems, and need engineers who can operate well in ambiguity and come to a great solution.

As an engineering team, we believe strongly that empathy improves our solutions. Seeing people use the product is a priority and the way we get to the right answer. Engineers will have the opportunity to work closely with our team onsite to understand the variety of use-cases that Peregrine serves. We value strong ownership on our team, while also being highly collaborative and always seeking input and feedback.

As part of being a frontend engineer, you will work closely with product designers and implementation teammates to work on intuitive interfaces for our users. The challenges on the frontend are beyond the basic; we are dealing with rendering thousands of points on maps, organizing data on a network graph, implementing intricate and interactive data visualizations, and more. Our frontend stack leverages React, Redux, D3, Mapbox, and Blueprint.js.
