Engineering at Pinwheel
We are a small and nimble engineering team. Coming in at the ground floor, you will have the opportunity to define the core architecture of many of our systems.
The team operates on week-long sprints. Each sprint begins with sprint planning and ends with a retrospective where engineers get to demo the work. We encourage test driven development, execute code reviews via pull request, and every engineer has the ability to push code to production.
A core feature of our platform is the ability to integrate with 3rd party payroll systems. Many of these systems do not offer clearly defined APIs. We are taking a micro-services approach and creating a facade
API to allow our core application to interface with these 3rd party systems.
You will be working with the product designer to implement the frontend for a new financial product offering.
You will be building an automated
bot
in node.js to read and write data to a legacy system.You will be building out the backend graphQL API in python for a new product offering.
