Engineering at Polymarket
Will discuss further, in general, we are a very agile, product-driven team. We use ClickUp, Notion, and Github. We have a community of beta testers who test new features before they go live.
We're the first DeFi application that transitioned from Ethereum to L2 (Matic). This brought us immense traction and lower friction, but also brought problems that others hadn't yet faced - particularly scaling the bridging between L1 and L2 for USDC in a non-custodial fashion. Polymarket was the first DeFi product to actually gain organic traction from non-crypto-native users, and thus, typical UX and technical flows in crypto products aren't sufficient for us. Via collaboration between product-minded people and engineers, we've delivered best in-class solutions for DeFi UX, but more obstacles still remain. All of them are achievable, though!
