Precious is an iPhone app that uses AI to organize your kid photos. Parents take 1000's of photos of their kids, and our computer vision transforms that mess into a beautiful digital album that is shared with close family. Thanks to this automatic album, the whole family will feel more connected to and supportive of the kids.

Engineering at Precious
Our engineering team launches a new app version to the App Store every week, sometimes twice a week. You'll brainstorm new ideas and implement them yourself. You'll have ownership of mission critical problems with little bureaucracy or cruft. You will work closely with a designer, but often, you'll need to make product decisions yourself. We are scrappy, and we value getting things out to users. We relentlessly A/B test everything we ship. You will get to shape the future dynamics and priorities of the engineering team.
We are building machine learning models deployed on mobile devices trained on baby specific data sets. We ship new experiments every week with full tracking and KPIs. We process and annotate about a million images per day in the cloud.
You would get to work on the data pipeline to help train our on-device deployed neural nets. You will build the multimedia storage back-end that will anonymize and store millions of photos and videos.
You will build the annotation pipeline that will provide clean data to our machine learning algorithms.
You will train and improve our neural nets trained for facial identification, face landmarks, emotion detection, and more.
You will convert and deploy these neural nets to run on iOS and Android devices.
You will implement features on iOS and Android that use neural nets to make new stories, artwork, and milestones for the family to enjoy.
