Engineering at Provide
We have multiple engineering teams organized around product areas that typically operate in 2-week sprints. We deploy multiple times a day - each engineer owns their feature from inception through deployment via our CI/CD pipeline. Architecture responsibilities are distributed: every engineer has the opportunity to act as Tech Lead for an Epic. The assigned Tech Lead partners with the Product Manager to determine technical requirements and help with story breakdown. Engineers are expected to write elegant, maintainable code; write unit, integration, and functional tests; write clear documentation; perform peer code reviews; and support other members of the team.
We are working on utilizing machine learning to solve difficult text identification, recognition, and classification problems; we are continuously delivering to a distributed systems architecture that meets SOC-2 Type II information security standards; and we are building innovative user experiences with a focus of improving ease of use and making transacting with us faster and easier.
We are working on using machine learning to extract text from documents collected and automate use of that data.
We are looking to build a map-based user experience to enable dentists the ability to locate and browse dental practices for sale in their area.
We are working to automate our complex credit-decisioning model and capital allocation engine.
