UI/UX Developer

Proxy is about pushing the boundaries of smartphones and radios to give every person on the planet their own unique signal for connected devices to tap into and do useful things for them. We are looking for a hacker who is focused on enabling a fantastic user experience, but who does not hesitate to dive into the low-level stuff.

You will work closely with our Hardware, Firmware, and Product Engineers to help design and build a scalable Frontend for Proxy’s platform. You’ll assume an integral role in technical decisions that define our product strategy and influence the user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Frontend software and algorithms to deploy and manage IoT systems
• Help to define and maintain the frontend related databases and dashboards
• Help to define the API for Frontend web stack application
• Build tools to help solve challenges in security, data collection, customer usage, and product delivery
• Identify repeated manual tasks and help automate them
• Collaborate with peers to write, review, and provide feedback on technical specifications
• Provide timelines and cost/benefit analysis to inform internal tools roadmap
• Identify and communicate front-end best practices
• Work closely with our design team to build beautiful & intuitive design features

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
• 4+ years Frontend experience Strong knowledge of JavaScript (libraries and tooling) and NodeJS
• SSQL and general database knowledgeExperience with RESTful API design and consumption
• Track record delivering large software projects
• Troubleshoot front-end coding and browser compatibility issues
• Translate mockups into front-end code
• Solid knowledge of testing principles
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Enthusiasm for evaluating new services and technologies
• Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities
