• We have every technical challenge - and the burden of uncompromising values related to security and privacy. 
• Structuring organizations to build seamless interactions and communication between hardware, firmware, radios, embedded software, mobile, backend, frontends, infrastructure and platforms delivery is ... really really hard...seriously - very not easy. 
• Doing this at scale and maintaining a high level of quality is even harder.
• Building something new, that people love, and depend on every day, that’s the hardest problem of all.

• We think hiring someone with deep technical depth, curiosity and experience applying those traits to tough problems will help us get better.
• We would like it to be someone with experience bringing mission driven teams together.
• We firmly believe that finding people who are energized when they find a problem create the energy needed to get through it
• We think applying focus, good judgement, and clarity to technology teams in these moments is the MOST important
• You don't need to be like minded but you should want to build teams that like other minds. :-)

What your previous experience might look like...   Look, our CEO once built F1 race cars and managed a rock band (shhh, and yes, we have pictures ;-)  AND he's also a great engineer. So, you'll have to forgive us for not presuming too much here. 

• 10+ Years of experience developing software or hardware or both? (hell, we might get lucky)
• 5+ years managing highly performant engineering teams
• Minimum 5+ years writing code. If you haven't banged your head against a wall looking for a bug, how do you intend to help your team without knowing that pain?
• A computer science degree ... or a passion for dismantling expensive things and putting them back together, maybe better?

To achieve our vision Proxy provides users with a universal identity signal, called their “Proxy.” Your Proxy is secure, is personal and it enables you to automate interactions with the things that you choose to interact with everyday. By pioneering the protocol that enables users to securely and privately communicate with any device that features Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
