Engineering team and processes

Small team so everyone reports to the technical CEO Andy, at the moment.

Andy will spec the tickets and work with the designer on mockups in Figma and sketch.

Kickoff meeting between engineers and Andy to go over user stories and dev timelines.

Track everything in Trello via swimlanes.

It's a simple process that works.

Technical Challenges

We version control a database.

We use dynamic programming to keep our front-end react client performant.

We are in the process of integrating 'Excel like' formulas and we are weighing the pros and cons of building our own DSL.

Projects you might work on

You would be part of the core team working on the frontend client. Core team members are very important to the company.

90% of the value of the company is the frontend client.
You may be using PWA or Electron to enable clients to install a desktop app.
You will add endpoints to the API-only rails server. It is CRUD and does not use Graphql. We have plans for a process better than Graphql, if you're interested, ask us during the interview.
