There is a need for a more enriching platform in the luxury sector because they feel social platforms are more mass, less class. Also, they focus on width of connect. Spotlit, the world's first experiential platform, focuses on depth of connect.
Engineering at Ra Luxury
Our engineering team operates on two week cycles. Each cycle begins with a meeting to discuss time estimates for features, and ends with a demo meeting where each engineer can show off the work they've completed. Engineers typically work with a designer and any other interested parties to spec a feature, then work on the feature individually. We use Pull Requests on GitHub to conduct code reviews. All engineers are also empowered to push code to production, which we often do multiple times a day.
We're building a machine learning system that needs to handle thousands of events per second.
You'll get to work on our sync architecture that captures that captures millions of communication data points.
You would be building our iOS completely from scratch.
