Engineering at Recora Health

Engineering team and processes

Our engineering team works closely with leaders from the clinical and product operations teams to understand the problems we are tasked with solving. Engineers are given the freedom to discuss the needs and problems in depth with folks who deeply understand the problem space before implementing solutions.

The team operates on two week sprints with an offset release schedule. We are test driven, automate our build and deployment pipelines, and monitor our infrastructure critically. Members rely on our software to receive healthcare, and we take that very seriously.

Technical Challenges

Cardiac recovery in tech is in its infancy and we are very much at the forefront of it. As we work through our beta program connecting biosignals sensors such as EKG, blood pressure, and heart rate, we're building to handle thousands of events per second. All this data must appear in real time to the provider on the other end who will use it to inform the patient's care.

Over time, we will become the largest cardiac recovery center and housing and analyzing our warehouse of biosignals data will allow us to redefine the future of heart health.

Projects you might work on
  • You would get to work on connecting new types of biosignals devices (think EKG, blood pressure, and heart rate) and collecting measurements in real time to present to providers in a telemedicine setting.

  • You would get to integrate our tech stack with multi-billion dollar health systems to safely and securely pull and push healthcare data.

  • You would get to build software for care providers to deliver cardiac recovery care more effectively and safely.
