Engineering at Red Van Workshop
The building blocks of Red Van Workshop are our teams, working on client projects that range from 3-6 months that are comprised of 2-3 developers (architects, front-end and back-end developers) supported by quality assurance and project managers. Our developers are all coders, creating high end e-commerce sites. We follow Agile methodology, release often. We like to learn new things, sharing what we have learned, and encourage to ask questions and help others
Red Van Developers challenge themselves daily creating new e-commerce sites, re-platforming old sites, or taking over a clients existing site. We implement complex interactive designs; integrate and bring together a variety of partners to build solutions for customers.

Working at Red Van Workshop
Red Van Workshop is a place of respect, support, and friendship. We are on a mission to create an environment where our people know they are valued at work and can be their genuine selves. Where hard work, kindness, and ingenuity are rewarded. Employees at Red Van Workshop work hard to build a culture where everyone belongs. Red Van Workshop does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, national origin, disability, protected genetic information, age, religion, marital status, veteran status, height, weight, sexual orientation, or gender expression. It’s about our people knowing that they’re valued where they work. A place where every person can be their genuine self, and hard work, kindness, and ingenuity are rewarded.
Red Van has an inhouse Diversity and Inclusion team committed to creating a diverse workforce and candidate pool at Red Van Workshop. Our goals at Red Van include some of the following tenets.
To Bring More Diverse People into RVW To Educate RVW as a Whole About Other People’s Experiences To Support and Amplify the Voices of the Under-represented To Retain and Grow Diverse Talent in RVW To Walk the Talk and Find Ways to Engage Outside of RVW
We believe that truly, our people are our strength. That means we must build an atmosphere that fosters individual and career growth, while retaining a diverse workforce that brings a breadth of experience to the company. This means supporting our people, starting from a place of understanding and trust that is infused throughout the RVW company environment. But it’s also providing the opportunities and tools for career growth, based on personal goals. It is easier to find new clients, than it is to find great people. We believe backing up, supporting and sometimes shielding our people takes precedence.
As part of our commitment to an inclusive workplace, we are happy to offer prospective engineers the chance to connect with our engineering employees who come from underrepresented backgrounds. It’s a way to get a better sense of our team and what it might be like to work with us.
If you’re interested in connecting with our team, be sure to bring this up during one of our introductory calls!
