Engineering at Reflektive
With multiple product verticals, we have several scrum teams that are dedicated to tackling our leading products: Real Time Feedback, Goals, Performance Reviews, Profiles etc. Their stakeholders are our customers' employees and admin teams.
Each of those teams are supported by our Core and Data teams, where Core's stakeholders are our other dev teams. Core's mission is to support the other dev teams via building tools, deployments, ops. Our Data team makes sure that the wealth of data we have is processed through the company efficiently.
Our scrum teams are composed of a Product Manager, Developers, and QA. We are all working together to deliver, and we work in parallel to get this done. We have daily standups and sprints to consistently deliver to our customers.
The environment is highly collaborative. We encourage developers to even engage Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success departments to always be learning! We welcome collaboration!
We are handling 500 to 50,000 person companies across multiple environments (web application, Slack, browser extensions). We have to support high scale traffic and sudden surges (say, when the company gets reminder emails to tackle something on Reflektive!)
We're fielding an amazing amount of real time data. Aggregating this and manipulating it in real time is going to be critical in bringing Reflektive into the next phase of our growth.
How do we make happier customers (employees) at work? Supporting them wherever they may be and through their workflow! To do this, we need to make our code robust through separation of code, delegation, APIs, as we are always adding to our product.
You would leverage React/Redux to build beautiful UI experiences for products including Reviews, Real-Time Feedback, and Profiles.
You're comfortable working with large data sets to build out core features that affects the entire product suite such as Permissions Management and People Intelligence Analytics.
You would help work with our application engineers to define and scale out our core infrastructure to provide maximum uptime and orchestrate releases across all our environments. You'll be working with technologies such as Docker, PostgreSQL, Apache Storm, AWS Kinesis, and ElasticSearch.
