Ripple is the leader in blockchain banking solutions we have well over 200 banks on-boarding at this time, with 40 already live and in production. Its a real in production blockchain solution working with the worlds largest banks and financial institutions. RippleNet
We have two more products that have been just released intro production- xVia and xRapid, this requires tons of new development working at an enterprise level to support over 127 Trillion dollars of payments in the future worldwide.
Our Chairman of the board Chris Larsen is a veteran CEO, he started E-Loan and Prosper both with successful exits before creating Ripple. Our Current CEO Brad Garlinghouse comes from an equally successful background with exits at Hightail and Yahoo previously.
We are a Series B company that is cash flow positive and have made more money than we have ever raised in funding. We are however backed by GoogleVentures, Andreesen Horowitz, SBI Holdings, Santander etc.
Aren't you curious about real world applications using these Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT/Blockchain)? Aren't you curious about XRP one of largest digital assets in the world and how this interacts with Ripple's enterprise software suites? You will have a chance to work with some of the smartest people in the world across many different verticals all motivated to help Ripple succeed.
If you have ever had to transfer money internationally this can take 2-5 days by wire (bank to bank), we can now accomplish this in 3-8 seconds in what we call and atomic transaction.
Close to a 3rd of our entire team at Ripple is technical/engineering 90+, meaning we are very engineering centric here. Our team is headed by our CTO David Schwartz, and lead by SVP of Engineering Chris Kanaan . We are an agile shop and working on tons of new development across xCurrent, xVia, xRapid (the RippleNet) and our new Client Portal (UI).
-Build enterprise, distributed payment applications that execute settlement within seconds to enable the Internet of Value -Contribute to the development of the Interledger Protocol, a W3C protocol for sending cross-ledger payments -Integrate with the XRP Ledger, a distributed ledger built on the principles of Blockchain and its native currency XRP, the fastest and most scalable digital asset -Prototype new solutions for complex software problems and implement them for production bank deployments -Be a technical subject matter expert and share your expertise with a growing team of engineers -Work with teams across the organization, including product, legal, and business development to think beyond the technical implications of your design decisions
xCurrent is Ripple’s enterprise software solution that enables banks to instantly settle cross-border payments with end-to-end tracking. Using xCurrent, banks message each other in real-time to confirm payment details prior to initiating the transaction and to confirm delivery once it settles. It includes a Rulebook developed in partnership with the RippleNet Committee that ensures operational consistency and legal clarity for every transaction. (Java Application)
xRapid is for payment providers and other financial institutions who want to minimize liquidity costs while improving their customer experience. Because payments into emerging markets often require pre-funded local currency accounts around the world, liquidity costs are high. xRapid dramatically lowers the capital requirements for liquidity by leveraging XRP as a bridge currency. (Java Application)
xVia is for corporates, payment providers and banks who want to send payments across various networks using a standard interface. xVia's simple API requires no software installation and enables users to seamlessly send payments globally with transparency into the payment status and with rich information, like invoices, attached. (Java Application)
