Based in sunny Los Angeles, Ritual is a personal health brand building the future of daily essentials. While pregnant and in search of a prenatal she could trust, Katerina Schneider took matters into her own hands and founded the company on the belief that better health begins with better ingredients. She has since pioneered a new standard of high-quality products that are backed by science and Made Traceable with the first visible supply chain of its kind. Ritual products are now trusted by hundreds of thousands of customers across generations, and its Essential Prenatal Multivitamin is one of the top selling prenatal multivitamins in the US.
Every product at Ritual starts with science. Together with some of the leading scientists, researchers and advisors, Ritual has developed products based on thousands of independent research studies, completed a peer-reviewed, university-led clinical trial, received USP Verification — held by less than 1% of vitamin companies — and Non-GMO Project Verification on its flagship product, Essential for Women 18+. The company has focused on essentiality, and started by reinventing the multivitamin from the ground up to help support foundational health of different members of the family including men, women, teens and kids. This year, Ritual deepened its nutritional expertise with the launch of Essential Protein, a traceable plant-based protein formulated for key life stages.

Why join us?
We leverage modern engineering practices and technologies, which is very uncommon is most eCommerce driven businesses. Our goal is to become closer to our end-users as they interact with our products in real life.
Our team previously worked at several similar, successful companies like Dollar Shave Club, Glossier, Reformation, and more.
Engineering at Ritual
Our engineering team operates on two week sprints. Each sprint is kicked off with sprint planning (pulling tickets into the next sprint based on our capacity), and ends with a sprint retro where we evaluate what's working and what needs work. Engineers typically work with a designer and any other interested parties to spec a feature, then work on the feature individually or in pairs. We use Pull Requests on GitHub to conduct code reviews. All engineers are also empowered to push code to production, which we often do multiple times a day.
You'd design and implement a system for enabling customers to purchase and redeem digital gift cards.
You'd be adding new functionality to allow customers to understand all the finer details of the products they receive, like exact formulation, origination, and more.
