Engineering at Ritual

Engineering team and processes

Our engineering team operates on two week sprints. Each sprint is kicked off with sprint planning (pulling tickets into the next sprint based on our capacity), and ends with a sprint retro where we evaluate what's working and what needs work. Engineers typically work with a designer and any other interested parties to spec a feature, then work on the feature individually or in pairs. We use Pull Requests on GitHub to conduct code reviews. All engineers are also empowered to push code to production, which we often do multiple times a day.

Projects you might work on
  • You'd design and implement a system for enabling customers to purchase and redeem digital gift cards.

  • You'd be adding new functionality to allow customers to understand all the finer details of the products they receive, like exact formulation, origination, and more.
