Rockerbox is developing enterprise-class marketing attribution software that is intuitive and easy for any business. We collect, cleanse and standardize data about a company's marketing touchpoints, offline & online advertising, purchase orders, customer data and more. We then use machine-learning to apply custom models on top of the data to help companies analyze the effectiveness of their marketing and health of their business. Rockerbox works with some of today's leading brands, such as Blue Apron, Glossier, MakeSpace, Rothy's and One Kings Lane.

Engineering at Rockerbox
Our team moves quickly and ships often. We operate on two-week cycles, with a team-wide sync every week. Since we’re a small team, you can expect to be part of the conversation with Product and Design as specs and scope are defined. We use Pull Requests on GitHub to conduct code reviews and builds are automatically tested and deployed to staging using CircleCI. We push code to production as frequently as possible, often multiple times a day.
We process ~50 TB of data per day, ingesting data about a company’s marketing touchpoints, offline & online advertising, purchase orders, customer data and more. All of this data needs to be stored, partitioned, standardized and aggregated into a single source of truth
about a company's marketing activity.
You would work on a data streaming infrastructure, using Kafka to write large volumes of events to NoSQL datastores like Cassandra.
You would build data visualizations using d3.js and React to illustrate connections between users' purchases and marketing touchpoints they interacted with.
You would work on optimizing our modeling framework, where we apply regressions on top of companies' marketing data to uncover effective vs. ineffective marketing channels.
