Engineering team and processes

Our technology team works collaboratively across Design, Development, QA, and DevOps. We follow an Agile Kanban model for project management, and are continually working to reduce the time it takes us to get code in production with an end goal of achieving a fully automated continuous integration and deployment pipeline.

Our team holds a daily standup meeting, and a retrospective focused on process improvement every 2 weeks.

Technical Challenges

We're always working to make our platform more scalable, stable, and easier to work on for our engineering team. At the moment, we're moving our consumer-facing site to Angular (from Backbone), working to split our monolithic Ruby on Rails backend into a number of microservices, and containerizing everything.

Projects you might work on
  • Contribute to our Angular based, mobile-responsive, ADA-compliant front end users by hundreds of stores and thousands of customers across the country every day.

  • Integrate our platform with industry leading providers of delivery, product data, product recommendations, data analytics, etc.

  • Build a lightning-fast (sub 1s) website and mobile app that can scale to thousands of active users.
