Scaled Inference
We're building a platform to make it easy for anyone to access the power of machine learning. Anyone can pump data into our platform, set a goal and then have optimizations occur in a context sensitive way.
For example, a web application optimizing its sign up flow by deciding where to place the sign up button, could use our platform to tailor that button display to specific users based on their specific characteristics.
Engineering at Scaled Inference
1) We're still early stage and many key decisions are still being made. We're turning the technology we've build so far into a polished product and you'll have direct input into how we do this.
2) We have uniquely broad challenges and are looking for engineers that have front end and back end experience. We like people who understand a little bit of everything and you'll have the opportunity to work on a bit of everything here.
3) Many Machine Learning companies only need their product to work for a single data set or source. We're building a general purpose platform and need it to work for an arbitrary data set, which is a much harder problem
4) As a new engineer here, you'll get chance to work on technical challenges that only senior/principal engineers at Google could as we believe in giving smart people the opportunity to dive in and make important decisions.
