Our engineering team is structured around Agile development processes in two-week sprints. For product features we validate customer interest and build from there, for UI features we work with our UX architect to design and implement great looking features. We have weekly code pushes to prod, with more frequent pushes to staging throughout the week.
Our team is building an excellent operational visibility platform, specifically focusing on our log management product. Speed is incredibly important to us and our customers. Queries must be fast, ingest must be near real-time, and graphs must be snappy. We accomplish all of this with our own index-free distributed database, allowing us to search through 1.5 TB of log data per second and answer most queries in less than a second. The challenges don't stop at infrastructure; the UX and web design aspects of our product are difficult to get right in order to help our customers make sense of massive amounts of log data.
You would work on building out and improving our S3 architecture.
