Role Description
By and large, the user experience of “modern” financial products makes it painfully difficult for the consumer to understand their entire financial picture. As a frontend engineer at Scratch, you’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the way borrowers understand and interact with their debt. Working directly with the CEO and a small team of engineers, you’ll build streamlined, borrower-focused features that will allow people to get ahold (and ahead!) of their payments - influencing credit scores, interest rates, total debt, and much, much more.
You'll work on a small, interdisciplinary team to build new features on our web apps from the ground up, contribute to each step of the product development process from ideation to implementation to release, and you'll help drive our product roadmap.
About Scratch
Americans hold 13.5 trillion dollars in debt, but the experience of paying off that debt is terrible. Scratch is here to change that! We’re working with banks and lenders to manage the entire repayment lifecycle of a loan and to help borrowers understand, manage, and repay their loans. This is a massive ($60B/year) industry that is in desperate need of an overhaul.
