Engineering at Second Front Systems
Our engineering team operates on two-week sprint cycles. We plan sprints with grooming, planning poker, and a short sprint planning meeting to decide on the issues for the next sprint. We close out every sprint with a demo and retro. We use PRs on Github to do code reviews.
Some of the upcoming challenges include: - Collaborative workspaces for users to work together real-time to manage their projects - Advanced search, discovery, and recommendation features - Risk scoring models incorporating multiple sources of data including APIs and human-in-the-loop input to flag different types of risk
Advanced search, discovery, and recommendation engines for defense users to find the best companies for their needs
Building risk prediction models to output different facets of risk that can incorporate many sources of data, as well as incorporate human-in-the-loop input
