SentiLink is building the modern identity bureau and bringing consumer identity into the 21st century. As the world shifts online, both individuals and institutions are increasingly exposed to new vectors of fraud. To tackle this complex and evolving problem, SentiLink verifies identities in real-time using proprietary clustering technology and the latest machine learning techniques. Our platform enables companies to provide their customers with a frictionless identity verification experience while stopping fraud before it occurs.
SentiLink is the leader in preventing synthetic fraud, an emerging fraud vector in which fraudsters open financial accounts under nonexistent people. Our partners include top-ten US banks, fintechs, and alternative lenders.
Why join us?
We're solving identity verification once and for all by building something that doesn't exist but should: a way for organizations that verify identities to share blacklist and whitelist information with each other.
We're working with top-ten US banks (ones that you likely have in your wallet), almost all of the major small business lenders, and many of the leading fintech lenders.
We closed a $14M Series A from investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Max Levchin (Affirm CEO/PayPal Co-Founder), and former presidents/CEOs of Visa, Transunion, HSBC, and Citi.
Engineering at SentiLink
There are two main sub-teams: Platform (builds the API, infra, data pipelines, internal and external tools) and Data Science (builds the models, conducts analyses, prioritizes Risk Operations queues).
We're answering the question
who are you? in real time. It's a simple question in an offline, known social network, but online or with strangers it becomes very challenging and subtle.
Build a real-time clustering/information retrieval service capable of connecting tens of millions of applications in real-time.
Building an external dashboard used by clients for fraud case reviews.
Build our callback API to help tell our partners when we learn something new about their previous customers.
