  • We have product market fit. Our revenue and customer base are growing rapidly. We are growing rapidly. We recently raised $6 million in funding and are just getting started. Year over year, revenue and company size has doubled.

  • We are in a huge market that no one has been able to dominate yet — agriculture accounts for ~2% of all employment (equal to $90b in payroll!). The service providers for recruiting, onboarding, managing, and paying farmworkers are antiquated and highly fragmented.

  • It's still early! Our product/engineering team is lean, (head of product, product designer, and six software engineers). We are looking to double our engineering team this year and there is tremendous opportunity to own entire initiatives and manage a team.

  • Our code is very - very - clean. Seriously. Well tested and typed (Typescript) - building features in our codebase is a breeze (and fast).

Engineering team and processes

We have 'Maker Standup' every day at 10am PT where engineers, designers, and product teams have a touch-base and discuss on going projects and any blockers/issues.

Engineers work very closely with designers and other teams frequently - working alone is the worst! Don't do it!

All engineers are full-stack - we own our features from planning, to implementation, to delivery.

We use Pull Requests on GitHub to conduct code reviews. All engineers are also empowered to push code to production - and we do it all the time (we are doing it right now).

We develop technology so farmers can connect with farm laborer - we facilitate economic opportunities and help local communities.

For us, technology is a way to empower people economically, not exploit or replace them. The global agriculture industry operates using paper, spreadsheets and fax machines. We need to map all of this complexity and automate it using software.

The industry we're in is very complicated and building a simple user experience is hard. One of our 'super powers' is our seamless approach to making users feel like they work in our office - it makes our feedback loop exceptionally short, which is extremely rewarding.

We don't track hours worked per day or week, so why would we track and limit the number of vacation days you can take per year?
