Role Description

Seso is building our industry's first labor marketplace. Our product roadmap touches Compliance, HR, Fintech, & Recruiting. As a software engineer at Seso, you'll be responsible for designing and developing solutions to complex product and technical problems. We work with the industry's best engineers using Node.js (TypeScript), PostgreSQL, Redis, and React. Our codebase is clean, thoroughly tested (Jest), and a joy to build in - deployments (and rollbacks) are a breeze. Experience working in AWS/GCP is a huge benefit.

You will be part of an elite, tight-knit, and high energy team that is obsessed with building great products and a great culture.

About Seso Inc.

Seso provides web-based software solutions for farms and farmers to manage their workforce. Immigration, transportation, workforce management, and HR - we eliminate those headaches.

We know agtech. We have a proven track record in the industry already. We've connected thousands of farmworkers with employment opportunities before building our first piece of software.

Right now, the industry is stuck using telephones, spreadsheets, and fax machines - sound familiar?

The farm labor shortage has reached a crisis point. Every year, billions of dollars in crops rot in fields because agricultural employers simply cannot find labor - Seso is attacking this problem head on.

Seso's people-to-people platform is rapidly transforming how farms and farm workers do business by unlocking the labor market - we are one of those rare companies that don't not merely satisfy a market, we grow it.

Company Culture

We love to build software

To put it mildly - we are ruthlessly committed to maintaining developer happiness and velocity. We invest heavily in making the process of building software better, faster, and more fun - we literally joke about how pleasant our codebase is to work in. It doesn't get better than this.

On top of that, we love our impact - we are helping farmers and farm laborers feed people. How is this not awesome?
