Engineering at Shiftsmart
We use light weight agile processes to manage our development cadence. There is a balanced culture of working both independently and collaborating with each other depending on the task. We use Pull Requests on Github to do code reviews & rely on CI pipeline to run tests, linting, etc on every push. We deploy as frequently as possible, and use feature flags to gate functionality so we can push to production safely & frequently.
Building relevancy & recommendation models to drive the right shift to the right worker, and ensuring workers are paid as quickly as possible for their work.
Establishing product lines that expand our footprint within existing clients relationships, allowing Shiftsmart to be the one stop shop for all labor related needs from recruiting and sourcing, to workforce management!
Balancing a quick, easy sign up process and onboarding experience while putting enough necessary checks to combat fraudulent sign ups and unintended use cases from bad actors.
