We Are Transforming the labor industry
We've built a labor management platform for hourly workers that enables them with choice and flexibility to build their personal work schedules across multiple roles and employers. More and more employers are switching to this contingent workforce model, and we help them manage workers, wages, and scheduling.
Role overview
The Engineering Team enables Shiftsmart to anticipate and creatively solve problems across multiple functions with solutions that have a lasting impact for both our clients (employers) and our users (workers). Our mission is simple, to build the world’s leading platform for hourly workers and for enterprises, enabling flexibility, choice, and upward social mobility.
What you’ll do:
Own a vertical pillar or horizontal function within our Product & Engineering team.
Drive the technical vision, influence product strategy, and conduct regular technical reviews.
Design, architect, and build highly-performant and reliable technical features, tools, and services.
Lead complex technical projects from ideation and design through production and deployment.
Serve as a mentor for junior engineers and participate in scaling our team.
Who you are
We’re actively hiring full stack, front-end, and back-end developers.
At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
Experience coding using Java-based languages (e.g. Node.js and/or React)
Work cross functionally with leadership, PMs, designers, other engineers to build products across a modern tech stack to solve complex problems
Ready for the fast pace environment of an early stage startup and an ability to roll up your sleeves to #GetShiftDone.
