Role Description

This is an opportunity to bridge the gap and be the go-between for the Design and Mobile Engineering teams at Shone Live. You will help us build a culture of design thinking coupled with engineering excellence.

As an UX Engineer focused on React Native, you’ll be a core and early founding member of the team at Shone Live, working with a designer and two web-focused Engineers tasked with ensuring the best possible execution of our product roadmap.

The team is off to a great start building out a reusable and extensible component library based on our design system, but we need help making sure all of that effort and planning can translate as seamlessly and painlessly to the React Native mobile development team as well.

About Shone Live Co.

SHONE is a live video selling marketplace focussed on fashion. Our software is tailored entirely to fashion with features such as voting about the product design. We are also building a training school to empower sellers to deliver an interactive immersive selling experience. Live video selling is most robust in China today, a $200 billion industry. It is fast growing in Europe and nascent in the USA. Our vision is to create an entirely immersive visual digital world as Ralph Lauren did for physical retail.

We believe shopping should be a dialogue between customers, designers and tastemakers. We are starting with the simple concept of live video shopping, and we see tremendous potential. By combining the best software, show format and seller training we will deliver a superior way to engage and consume.
