Engineering & product focused culture
Founded by two successful serial entrepreneurs
Engineering at ShopPad
Our engineering team starts every week with an all-hands meeting, where we prepare for the week's projects, openly discuss long-term engineering goals, and share anything we find new and interesting in technology. We operate in one-week cycles, with 10-minute daily standups, and the entire team works from home on Thursdays. We're a small and rapidly growing team, and we believe engineers do their best work without rigid constraints, in an inclusive environment of open collaboration.
At ShopPad, there are always opportunities to work on something new. Projects come to us from all over the world and involve all aspects of commerce, from online storefronts to international freight. Engineers here are welcome to play an active role in scoping, estimating, and influencing project direction. We actively develop on every level of the web stack, use pull requests on GitHub to conduct code reviews, and deploy code to production many times a day.
Our clients are top enterprise companies and rapidly scaling brands. Our engineers typically work on developing solutions that push the envelope of ecommerce in terms of creativity and the massive scale they must perform at. ShopPad is a great place for those that want to have a real sense of ownership, be able to point to the impact their work has made, and be part of something bigger than themselves by building a company with a passionate group of creative builders.
One of our products is a tool that helps online merchants to create beautiful pages with a simple drag & drop interface. Page Studio is an app by ShopPad that gives thousands of merchants all over the world an elegant and intuitive interface for page creation and customization, so they can create unique customer experiences without the need to write code.
Page Studio is actively developed with the goal of being both simple and intuitive to use, while also providing depth and extensibility. It features a growing list of built-in components, including maps, forms, and video, with a large scale of assets and content from thousands of merchants backed by our stack and distributed to millions of customers through a global CDN.
