We're creating a genre defining social simulation game. These titles are huge influences for us: The Sims, Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, and Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
We're funded by Andressen Horowitz (a16z), one of the leading VC firms in the world.

Scrum-based development methodology - standard sprint cycle with planning, review, retro and daily stand-ups. The team works towards collective goals each sprint, and individuals are empowered with autonomy in their own domain (we are a small team, so everyone has a ton of responsibility). Git based source control. Automated builds. Weekly playtests.
We're building a massively multiplayer online game that can scale to millions of concurrent players.
We’re building the next generation of deeply immersive online worlds. Doing so requires spanning the domains of computer science - from high performance game play programming to scalable internet architectures to big data science. We look for Software Engineers ready to craft whatever code is necessary to help bring our first vibrant new world to life! As a crucial member of our cross-functional prototyping team, you will work closely with designers, artists and other engineers. Being passionate about games, cultivating a growth mindset, and a fearless approach to solving hard problems is a must.
You’ll implement new gameplay features (such as a creature AI system), design and create gameplay tools, and be a core member of a prototyping team that includes designers, artists, and engineers.
