We're building a no code platform that empowers businesses to effortlessly create the branded and personalized voice assistants of the future. Think of us as the squarespace for voice assistants.

Our users leave the AI/NLP and CRM/ERP integrations to us while using our dead simple suite of tools to endlessly tweak and customize their audio experiences enabling delightful, always-on interactions with their customers via voice channels.

I know what you're thinking, another company doing Alexa skills? Chatbots...zzzz. But let's connect and talk about how we're taking a unique approach to this space.

Why join us?

  • Our tiny founding team is devastatingly well decorated and our first formal advisor is a successful former founder in this space, former vp at Alexa and now head of voice and search at Spotify.

  • Our founding team worked on the voice platform at Spotify.

  • We are tackling a difficult problem in a unique way and want to diversify the voice assistant ecosystem away from the current big tech monoculture

Engineering at Slang.ai

Engineering team and processes

Currently the CTO and sometimes the CEO (he has a technical background too!). We both have plenty of experience with agile and scrum, so we run the basic 2 week sprint cycle with retros. We use cascading okrs to direct the development process. Nothing crazy here. Code reviews and all that jazz. We try to demo as much as possible. Daily stand-ups too with the occasional side of after party. Sometimes we read AI papers and discuss them. We are trying to be process light.

Technical Challenges

Building reliable active learning pipelines for language models that need to generalize to many businesses. Interfacing with the telephony stack. Digital signal processing in real-time. Creating tools that multiply the efforts of customer service agents and allow for effective bot driving behind the scenes. I could go on...

Projects you might work on
  • Pretty much all projects will be based on the interesting technical challenges listed already. I'm happy to give more detail in vivo.
