Smart Seal uses encrypted Near Field Communication (NFC) chips/tags to give secure digital identities to physical goods. These tags are small, thin, flexible, and washable Radio Frequency circuits that enable an easily accessible and ongoing relationship with anyone along a value chain. This is all possible with just the tap of a smartphone, like android or apple pay.

No mobile app download required, all web application based.

As a company, we make it as easy for clients to integrate these tags into their products. We accomplish this, by providing tags built to their size specifications, a tag programming system that can be deployed to manufacturing centers, a cloud-based tag authentication and data collection service, a web-based dashboard service that displays analytics on scan data. In addition, we have a robust API to access the data, manage the tags, and integrate with your own systems.

Each scan compiles information such as scan date, time, and location, IP address, phone type, and any information that can be associated with the tag ID like batch numbers, product codes, and descriptions.

If needed, we build end-to-end custom applications on top of our platform according to client specifications.

Our structure is pretty simple and easy to onboard. We usually curate a weekly memo via Slack/Asana. This helps set the tone for execution during the week. Our mode of communication is mostly a function of chat messages and voice notes.

Building out a robust tag manager that enables automated changes for deployed tag assets is a big deal!
