We're very collaborative; we love design by discussion and team members definitely set aside ego in service of the best output. We practice incremental development and expose work frequently. Other things that matter to us: continuous integration, diligent code reviews, strong code hygiene, test-driven programming, and an ability to discard work freely in favor of something better. We are taking agile programming to the next level: not working in fixed sprints, we do and review the work in a variable schedule. We are very committed to using new and effective technologies to allow us to work more quickly and with less code. In particular, the use of AWS AppSync with Serverless has been a game changer.

We are building a platform onto which data applications enabling strategic decisions can be made. It's a great technical challenge to build something that will quickly ingest different types of data, and then allow analytical processing to enable evaluation and decisions. We handle data ingestion/cleansing using standard technologies like Apache NiFi. We have our own metadata layer that's used to help build the data application. Doing this in a general way, making it easy to construct the data application by configuration, having the resulting application be beautiful, and doing it all fast are interesting challenges.
