Engineering at SocketFace Labs
We are a distributed agile development team who primarily uses slack to communicate. We run 2 week sprints that begin with a planning session, have daily scrums and end with a demo and retrospective. Our planning sessions will be with product owners and designers to provide clear definitions to allow an engineer to determine scope. We use pull requests in Github to allow code reviews.
Were building blockchain products so we are interacting with a technology still in its infancy. As a result we encounter some issues, like connectivity and reconnection logic, that you don’t see in web development these days. However this allows us to be thought leaders in the space and build solutions that others can use.
