Engineering at SoFi
Our team is composed of both product-facing teams, as well as internal teams responsible for core services and systems. Teams are further divided into squads of 4-8 engineers, where each squad will have ownership over a business goal or metric.
Our engineering team follows scrum, with individual squads of 4-8 engineers using either one or two-week sprints depending on the team.
We practice continuous integration and deployment, using merge requests on gitlab for code review. Most individual engineers take at least one piece of code into production during any given week.
