We are dealing with massive scale, serving more than 300 million Monthly Active Users, processing many billions events a month. We have several interesting challenges: * scale and speed of data processing to calculate stats as soon as possible to inform our customers of the value of their features * user experience and how to provide complicated data in a simple and trustworthy form * integrations to make it easy to correlate data with our data sources and help our customers make more informed and better product decisions * and many more
We are a small team, under 20 people. We have lightweight processes, working by project team with quarterly goals. We pay attention to quality and invest in it appropriately and we prioritize the customer first.
We are processing billions of events a months, collecting metrics, calculating correlations between features and metrics during A/B/n testing to help our customers understand how each feature impacts their product and business. It is a lot of calculation and data to process and as we onboard bigger and bigger customers every month we need to keep increasing scale by orders of magnitude. And we need to provide results as early as possible so that our customers can make adjustments quickly if needed.
