SplitSpot is working to make renting easy for both renters and landlords. As a managed marketplace for apartment room rentals, we provide accessible and flexible urban housing for renters, and a end-to-end marketing, sales, and tenant management service to property owners.

Our team-members understand the issues that come with rental management, because we are renters, owners, and everything in between. We've lived through the pitfalls and now we're using our experience and technological innovations to make the process better.

Engineering team and processes

Our engineering team is currently small (Director of Engineering plus two other engineers), and we are in the process of building out a new Ruby on Rails app to replace the exisitng SplitSpot site built on Wix.

Technical Challenges

We're building a managed marketplace for apartment rentals that is looking to serve major global metros in the long-run.

Projects you might work on

You would get t help shapre the architecture/design of our new greenfield app.
You will be migrating/integrating the new rails app into the exisintg process that are powering our business
