Role Description
Responsibilities: Design, develop, test and optimize reliable and efficient camera systems for large scale computer vision deployments Collaborate with computer vision, machine learning and infrastructure teams to architect and integrate sensing software Evaluate, test and integrate sensors from third party vendors Design, improve and maintain low latency image acquisition pipelines
Requirements: Rust and C/C++ Embedded systems, Hardware peripherals, firmware and/or real-time systems Socket programming expertise: TCP, UDP, etc. Familiarity with concurrency primitives: threads, locking, mutexes Knowledge of Linux internals: scheduling policies, kernel modules, kernel tuning, network stack Experience authoring and deploying production ready code
Nice to have: Experience with video codecs and containers: H264, H265, MPEG, Matroska, DASH Experience with streaming devices and digital still cameras is a big plus Experience with FW implementation of imaging system/devices Experience with various sensor and bus interfaces: Ethernet, USB, MIPI, CCP2, I2C, SPI. Experience with major platform SoCs. Experience with Hardware Peripheral IO (PMIO/MMIO)
