Engineering at StratiFi

Engineering team and processes

We have a Product Manager who works with the CEO, Designer and Tech Lead to scope our the work for each sprint. We work in two-week sprints. We do TDD and have built robust systems and processes to allow us to deploy code to production as it gets ready. We use Pull Requests on GitHub to conduct code reviews. Every Monday we review the Product Roadmap and every Friday engineers demo what they are built and we encourage engineers to share what they are working on through screencasts on a regular basis. The deployment to production is managed by our Engineering Manager who also has a background in QA. All of our documentation is on Confluence and we use JIRA to manage the sprint. We do a monthly engineering check up to identify areas for improvement so that we can continuously build a better team.

Technical Challenges

Build an API product that allows other developers to effortlessly calculate risk scores on1000s of accounts.

Use AWS Lambda efficiently to build async infrastructure that is almost infinitely scalable.

Enhance our servers to be able to handle millions of concurrent requests and return responses with low latency

Projects you might work on
  • You will get to work closely with the product manager, designer and interact with some prospects/customers to develop intuition on how to build a great product and deliver an amazing experience. You will own our API product that will allow large enterprises to consume our core technology. You will build a consumer app that will allow individuals to easily quantify the risk they have in their portfolio and have a real impact on their financial wellbeing.
