Folks can now train and perform in their normal compression gear without inhibiting their physical abilities or changing their headspace. No other surface EMG sensors are as reliable or comfortable. We are rapidly expanding our reach in the Military and across professional and collegiate sports like the NFL and NBA. We will expand into the consumer vertical in 2022!

Engineering at Strive Tech

Engineering team and processes

Our engineering team works in 2-week sprints. Sprint planning is highly engaging and includes Product Developers and feedback from our Sales and Customer Success teams. These sprints align to a larger strategy developed in collaboration between the CEO, Head of Software, Product Development, Marketing, Sales and Operations. The entire company works in these sprints and shows off their deliverables at a teamwide demo session every other Friday, followed by an optional decompression session to chat with your teammates on a more personal level.

A goal of our sprints is to save bandwidth for creative engineering time that is unplanned by a product manager. This allows for our engineering team to have focused to learn new skills, build solutions for their own workflows, or solve problems that create opportunities and value for themselves or others.

We are excited for people to grow throughout their employment journey with our team. We encourage engineers to continue learning, and often share with each other to help instill the best practices out there!

Technical Challenges
  • Gathering data from many (20+) BLE enabled devices with one mobile device connection
  • Providing real-time biometric data through seamless offline/online functionality
  • Managing high flow data pipelines to provide fast access to data insights through a combination of smart cacheing and materialized views
  • Integrating our data with industry partners through authenticated apis
Projects you might work on
  • Building hybrid consumer and professional react native application to collect and view data from proprietary IOT devices over bluetooth.

  • Giving high premium customers access to their organizations raw biometric data in a safe and secure environment through apis and direct sequestered database access.

  • Building data collection devices to enable fast and efficient data collection through bluetooth mesh to give coaches and trainers live streamed data for up to the second feedback.

  • Implementing an edge machine learning platform to give athletes mid-workout advice and feedback based on real time data and previously collected data.
