Suki is building a digital assistant for doctors, leveraging advances in AI and conversational UIs to reinvent the way clinicians and health systems operate. We are an early stage, well-funded startup on a mission to rebuild the health stack starting with the doctor-patient relationship. We are applying decades of learnings and experiences from leading consumer and enterprise companies such as Google, Salesforce and Oracle to healthcare, and are backed by some of the best investors in Silicon Valley.
We are a small team, based near the Caltrain station in downtown Redwood City, growing rapidly, and focused on building a world-class technology company that has a thoughtful and Kaizen culture.

Suki was founded by Punit Soni – a former senior executive at Google and Flipkart – and Karthik Rajan, who previously led IT infrastructure for Salesforce. Its team includes technologists from Apple, Google, Salesforce, and 23andMe, as well as physicians from the University of California San Francisco and Stanford. We are a melting pot of backgrounds, lawyers, doctors, engineers, artists.

Engineering at Suki
Our engineering team operates on two week sprints. Each sprint begins with a meeting to discuss time estimates for features. We have regular opportunities for engineers to demo the work they've completed to the whole team. We mix individual work with collaboration. We use Pull Requests on GitHub to conduct code reviews.
We are building a product that delights and empowers doctors with experiences that they could never imagine with their existing health IT systems. To do that, we will have to overcome a number of technical challenges.
Since we are working with large amounts of healthcare data, focus on quality and security is appreciated.
Working on our streaming voice stack or building data infrastructure (which can drive ML or NLP).
