Role Description

Lead our growing remote-first team of experienced React developers and drive change through cross functional collaboration with testing, design, marketing, and project management pushing the boundaries of agile software development in the medical device space. You will play a key role in building the next generation web and mobile diabetes management platform that serves customers worldwide. Job Responsibilities 

Lead a remote team of 5-8 to plan and implement features for our digital health apps Drive change to our product, QA, and DevOps processes by influencing others Push the boundaries of how software development works when quality is a top priority Leverage the latest React technologies to engineer clean, modularized, and well unit and integration tested TypeScript code that runs seamlessly across native and mobile apps Identify and remove roadblocks for your team and foster strong collaboration Help your reports to develop their careers through mentoring, peer coding, code reviews, structured feedback, and empower them to take on clearly defined responsibilities Split your time between people management, architecture discussion, and coding Help to strategically position Tandem to compete in the growing Digital Health market

Your Skills

Drive to deliver business outcomes and continuously question the status quo Expert in developing well tested and modular TypeScript code for React apps (3+ years) Experience leading teams (4+ reports) and working with diverse stakeholders Exceptional communication skills and ability to motivate and influence others Know how to establish effective agile process that continuously evolve Proven ability to manage change in dynamic environments with many stakeholders Decisiveness and the ability to present a convincing and pragmatic vision Humility and compassion for the people you work with directly and indirectly
