We run a weekly sprint and periodic updates. All our code is managed through GitHub with regular code reviews and required tests for every commit.
How to create an infinitely-scalable decentralized & distributed network while maintaining security and latency requirements under a Byzantine environment.
Build a P2P network transmission protocol to drastically reduce network diameter.
Build a set of concurrent objects (e.g., hashtables, counters) and expose them to developers to maximize fine-grained concurrency in their smart contract coding.
Build a low-latency multi-signature scheme with BLS.
We're very easy-going and reasonable people but highly goal-oriented. We work pretty hard but are very flexible with schedules, and understand that tons of stuff happens in life and we work together to get around it.
We usually do 10am to 6pm, sometimes more, sometimes less, pretty flexible. If a team member needs to take a few days to work from home that's pretty cool too. As long as the job gets done and no additional collaborative friction is created we're OK with pretty much anything.
Free medical (Anthem Platinum PPO), dental and vision (Delta). We benchmarked against some of the largest tech companies in the valley and we're comparable.
We offer a $5000 stipend
We'll buy whatever snack / drinks you'd like to have stocked in the office.
We're flexible about working from home, as long as it does not interfere with team communications and hinder our progress. If you wish to work from home on a regular basis, we do want you to show up in the office a few times a week just to facilitate discussions.
