Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer you will interface with product, design and backend engineering to bring complex and performant web applications to life. Collaborate with other frontend engineers to define team best practices and standards. Keep code quality and product confidence at a high level with effective collaboration and peer review.

Responsibilities

  • Build performant frontend web applications
  • Lead code reviews and set high bar of code quality for the team
  • Write effective unit and integration tests
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers through component design, implementation and testing
  • Work closely with design and product teams to define software solutions for product requirements

Requirements

  • 8 plus years of experience with modern frontend libraries: React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Experience implementing and interfacing with REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Experience with TypeScript or a willingness to learn TypeScript.
  • A solid understanding in core web and browser concepts, such as how the browser parses, constructs and renders a web page.
  • A solid understanding of browser debugging tools and web debugging flows.
  • Comfortable with ownership, leading development initiatives.
  • Familiarity with audio or video playback.
  • Experience building, maintaining and consuming component libraries and micro-frontends.
  • Experience with authoring automated tests.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Bonus Points

  • In-depth knowledge of CSS and more advanced web graphic technologies (Canvas, SVG, Three.js, WebGL, GLSL Shaders) are a plus.
