Bandit Engineer (Backend, Mobile, Fullstack)

We’re looking for passionate product-focused software (mobile, backend, full stack) engineers who love building intuitive and delightful consumer experience from the ground up. We’re looking for entrepreneurs comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces, with a keen eye towards detail, and comfortable learning new technologies. We work hard and celebrate each win together!

Responsibilities

• Architect Bandit apps (iOS, Android) or/and backend systems using the best practice.
• Implement and iterate features in a tactical manner and rapid pace.
• Work collaboratively and efficiently across functional teams in a fast paced early stage startup environment.
• Design, extend, and implement APIs.
• High standard of engineering quality through code reviews, unit tests, analytics.
• Create engineering efficiencies through automation and development of tools.
• Define engineering processes for product launch and releases.
• Help us grow the world class engineering team via by running technical interviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience, focusing primarily on mobile and/or backend.
• Expert at API/Backend (NodeJS/Java), iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin).
• Solid understanding of OOP, CS fundamentals and modern architectures.
• Good intuition for REST API design.
• Track record as a technical owner of consumer products and/or projects.
• Effectively communicate between and within teams.
• Strong interest in teaching and mentoring engineers.
