Role Description

We are hiring a Flutter Engineer to join our expert Flutter team! You'll be working along side other seasoned Flutter engineers and working on projects that will be used by hundreds of thousands of customers.

The work you produce must be well documented because it will be consumed by external teams. And you should be comfortable working closely with other experienced engineers and have a patient understanding of requirements bound to banking rules and regulations.

We are looking for someone who is kind, fair, flexible, and calm. Here are some real examples of the work you will be doing:

Following a scrum agile approach to keep dev tasks planned, groomed, and sized Implementing a new design language from the ground up using Flutter best practices Testing flutter components on multiple form factors and platforms from mobile to web Collecting and documenting research that can be used to influence stakeholder’s opinions Write unit, snapshot, and integration test and reporting the results in a consumer-friendly manner Building custom plugins for integration with native SDKs Dealing with nuances across mobile and web platforms Evolving our reliable and robust component examples for designers and developers Educating other developers about your work thru well-documented specifications and screen-captured videos Upgrading to the latest versions of Flutter, testing what works and what doesn't, and potentially reverting back This is just a snapshot of what occurs on a daily basis. We expect your experience to merge and enhance ours! You can expect to teach, motivate, and guide and expect this to be reciprocated.The role will be fully remote with working hours of +/- 2 hours of EST or PST.


  1. Ability to take ownership of work items and help cultivate new ones with a Product-first mindset
  2. Frontend app development, but comfortable writing javascript APIs or javascript logic
  3. Be self-organizing, respect projects conventions, communicate clearly and briefly
  4. GraphQL API concepts and implementation patterns
  5. Testing (unit, integration, CI/CD E2E)
  6. Ability to work and communicate primarily across GMT-5 through GMT-3 (where our teams reside and work), with a minimum of 6-hour overlap with GMT-5 (the client's location).


  1. React 16+, Typescript, Nextjs
  2. SCSS (Flexbox, CSS grid)
  3. Front-end build tooling (Webpack/Parcel, Babel, NPM/Yarn)
  4. Front-end testing libraries and methods (Jest/Enzyme/react-testing-library)
  5. End-to-End testing frameworks (Cypress)
  6. Web accessibility/a11y
  7. GraphQL queries and mutations
  8. Node.js LTS
  9. Understanding of infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, or Serverless)


  1. CI/CD Pipelines
  2. Chrome/Firefox Debugging Tools
  3. React Profiler for performance
  4. Familiarity with code bundling & splitting strategies and tools
  5. Sentry and similar exception analysis providers
  6. Various Analytics providers
