Engineering team and processes

Our engineering teams are split into delivery teams working on individual projects. Most of our engineering teams work in two week sprints, with frequent code releases. Depending upon the scope and needs of the project, delivery teams may vary in size from 1 to 6 individuals. We often utilize both internal and contract development resources as our technology stack requires integration across applications and to our centralized Snowflake data warehouse. With the acquisition of a progressive web app serving our healthcare workers, a year ago we added an internal engineering team to our organization. Developers work with business process and product owners to define needs and user stories. Product owners, developers and project managers work together to prioritize backlog items under shifting circumstances. We often deliver workable MVPs, with improvements to the product made post initial release.

Technical Challenges

Much of the data in our workflows is managed through multiple applications and processes that include our internal staff in billing, payroll, compliance, recruiting and sales AND dozens of VMS/MSP clients, thousands of client facilities, and tens of thousands of healthcare workers. It is the mission of all of these stakeholders to bring excellent patient care and healthcare expertise to locations all across the United States. Triage has worked to bring transparency and standardization to its customers, healthcare professionals and even competitors to better serve this objective.

Projects you might work on
  • The right product-focused senior full stack engineer would have the opportunity to evaluate the current Triage web sites and applications, work with product owners on the marketing team to capture and document requirements, refactor currents sites to optimize for long term scalability if needed, and own and execute product engineering from back end to front end. This engineering leader would also work with integration specialists, contract development shops, and our Triage Innovation team.

  • Bill Pay Review Portal - Designed and developed web application to expedite the processing and reconciliation of $10 millions of weekly invoices and payroll. (Past Project)
