At TRM, we are pioneering infrastructure to make the financial system more fair and accessible. Just as Google rose to prominence by organizing the Internet, TRM is indexing and analyzing blockchain data to make it accessible to anyone, anywhere.
Our first product is an ML-driven analytics platform that helps cryptocurrency financial institutions detect suspicious activity like money laundering and market manipulation.

Strong engineering and product culture. Collectively, we've researched machine learning at Harvard and Stanford, led strategy teams at McKinsey, and shipped distributed apps at Amazon and OpenDoor.
We work with the best. TRM is funded by Y Combinator, Initialized Capital (first investors in Coinbase), and Blockchain Capital, the leading blockchain VC firm. Our customers include the world's top digital asset companies.
Our culture is creative, collaborative, and hypothesis-driven. We focus on creating the best products possible with low ego and high productivity.
Every engineer has a say in the product roadmap and technical architecture.
We get together at the end of every month to review the previous month's progress and set product, market, and team OKRs (goals) for the next month.
We typically do weekly sprints and use Notion to track tickets. At the beginning of every week, we align on (1) what features we need to ship that week, and (2) what features we'll work on the following week so the design team can get those designs ready. At the end of every week, we do a code review and hand off finished designs for the following week.
We ship to production to daily with CI/CD. We use Github for version control.
Build the Google for blockchain. Architect data models to organize terabytes of unstructured data from blockchains.
You would build machine learning models that detect market manipulation on cryptocurrency exchanges.
You would build an ETL pipeline that can blend both on-chain and off-chain data into a datastore that can be queried by a low-latency analytics application.
You would build beautiful and delightful user experiences as part of a new category of enterprise software: Token Relationship Management.
We continuously improve. Regular feedback sessions and professional coaching for all team members.
We care for each other and our community. Comprehensive health plans, personal time off, and paid volunteer time off.
We are hungry to do work that matters. We see blockchain as a technology that will impact human society at the scale of the Internet. We are committed to make our contribution count.
We hustle. Extreme autonomy, ownership, and accountability. We move fast and get things done.
We play. When not shipping product, you’ll find us biking through SF, dancing (Rahul is a ballroom dancer), or exploring the outdoors (Esteban is a whitewater kayaking instructor).
We're typically in the office between 10am and 8pm but there's no hard rule about this.
Vacation: 2-week minimum of paid time off. Community Involvement: 4 hours per month of paid volunteer time off.
There's lots of great restaurants near our office. Lunches & dinners are reimbursed.
Every quarter, we do a company offsite to unwind :)
We encourage each other to represent TRM at industry conferences and workshops – from Berlin, to Singapore, and Denver.
We provide full medical, dental, and vision insurance.
What's on your San Francisco bucket list? We organize outings, from salsa classes to kayaking in the bay.
We work from home one day a week.
We offer a $5,000 relocation reimbursement if you're moving to San Francisco from out of state.
We give our employees a $100 stipend every month for gym and fitness.
